Gypsyanna Polish Catch Phrase Collection

Hello Lovelies! This evening I have some of the coolest polishes from Gypsyanna Polish's Catch Phrase Collection to show you. They are seriously mind-blowing. I went out and picked up a black light just to see how cool they really could look and let me just say...Oh. M. Gee.

I wish you could see them IRL! ^.^ I did my best to capture the awesomeness. LOOK! LOOK!
This is Gypsyanna Polish Overreaction.
Overreaction is a "bright yellow neon".
My camera refused to capture the neon of this...so you will have to take my word for it. I do not lie about these things. This polish is HIGHLIGHTER yellow!
Traffic stopping!
Here is one coat of Overreaction over one coat FP Paper Mache undies. Perfect formula! And the white underneath really makes the yellow PoP! *.*
(I didn't get any black light pics of Overreaction because I did my mani before I bought my black light.)

This is Gypsyanna Polish Doesn't Make It.
Doesn't Make It is a "textured and speckled 'flubber' inspired neon green that smooths out under Seche or a similar top coat".
Here is one coat of Doesn't Make It over one coat of FP Paper Mache with no topcoat (to show the texture).
Doesn't Make It under black light~coolio! I Loooove the texture in this polish!!!
Application was flawless for this beauty! No streaking or dragging. Just gorgeousness.
Here is a picture with a coat of Seche Vite.
OUTSTANDING!!!

For funzies, I put Gypsyanna Polish Doesn't Make It over Overreaction.
Pretty cool~it's like a speckled neon lime green.

This is Gypsyanna Polish Doesn't Make It with Optimistic Advice topper.
Optimistic Advice is a "white glitter topper that glows under a black light".
For this mani, I used one coat of Doesn't Make It over one coat of FP Paper Mache. Then, I applied the gorgeous Optimistic Advice to the top of my mani, followed by a coat of Seche Vite.
These polishes RoCk under black light!!!

I hope you enjoyed reading this review as much as I did putting it together. Bryanna's polishes are definitely above and beyond amazing! Make sure to

ellagee Disney-inspired Trio

Hello Lovelies! I am super excited to show you three beautiful polishes that Laura of ellagee sent my way. The moment I unwrapped them, I could hardly wait to put them on. ^.^ Take a peek!

This is ellagee The Back Side of Water.
The Back Side of Water is a "clear base with silver, blue, turquoise, and aqua hexagon and square glitters".
Here is two coats of The Back Side of Water with one coat FP Black Expressionism undies. I found this polish to be very hungry, so I used a generous coat of Gelous, followed by a topcoat of Seche Vite. Application was a breeze!
I read Laura's inspiration after I used all of her polishes, and I was stunned when I read her description for The Back Side of Water. Laura said the polish was "meant to capture the appearance of sunlight shining through a waterfall and is named for the classic spiel of the skippers in Disney's Jungle Cruise ride".
Kudos, Laura! Mission Accomplished!
Here is The Back Side of Water matted. ^.^

This is ellagee Some Imagination, Huh!
Some Imagination, Huh! is a "clear base with royal blue, navy blue, and silver holo glitters with gold holo stars and crescent moons".
I used one coat of Some Imagination, Huh! over one coat of A England Avalon, followed by one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat and to help speed the drying process. I used the dab and pull the polish to the edges of my nail technique, which worked very well.
I loooove that this polish is inspired by "Mickey's sorcerer hat and named for his last line in Disney's nighttime show, Fantasmic".
Laura nailed it perfectly!
While I was working on my post, Laura reached out to me regarding a glitter issue with the polish, stating that the base was turning purple due to a glitter bleed. Laura said, "I'm contacting people to see if they want a replacement and (I) will have the new glitter in a week or so."
For the record, I love the purple in the base and I thought it was intentional. @.@ And I firmly believe that any business is built on strong and honest customer service, which Laura clearly demonstrates.

This is ellagee Make It A Super Stretch.
Make It A Super Stretch is a "clear base with silver, red, black, and white hexagon, square, and rectangle glitters".
For this mani, I used one coat of Make It A Super Stretch over one coat of A England Bridal Veil. I used my favorite topcoat, Seche Vite, and I was done!

I think it's cool that Laura named this polish "for Disney Studio's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster ride". All of her polishes make me want to go to Disneyworld!
After staring at this gorgeous polish, I KNEW I needed to matte this beauty.
What do you think?
Have you tried ellagee yet? This was my first experience with ellagee and I can definitely tell you that this will not be my last! I plan on adding many, many more ellagee to my collection.

Liquid Sky Lacquer Like A Boss

Hello Lovelies! I've had this polish in my stash of polishes to show you for a while now and I have debated on what color to swatch it over. I tried it over gray and it looked pretty...but not exactly "boss-like". Then, I found the magic color that really worked for me (personally). Check it out!

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Like A Boss.
Like A Boss is a "glitter bomb with white and black squares and rectangles; small white hex and medium red hex".
I used one coat of Like A Boss over my undies: one coat of FP Paper Mache covered with one coat of Orly Glowstick. To top it all of, I applied one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat and to speed the drying process.
I LOVE this POLISH!! ^.^
Oh, and here it is over gray...

Liquid Sky Lacquer Peachy Day Break

Hello Lovelies! I've been so busy finishing up the school year that it's been difficult to get my posts done on a regular basis. However, I have been lucky enough to get some swatching done and I'm excited to share them with you!

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Peachy Day Break.
Peachy Day Break is a "translucent peach base with small pink hex, bronze squares, and tiny bronze glitters".
I used three coats of Peachy Day Break over two coats of Liquid Sky Lacquer Whimsical Bronze and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat.
I love the way the glitter creates a layered effect in this polish!

Creations By Lynda Firefly and Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil

Hello Lovelies! Lynda has created a wonderful cuticle oil that I've been using over the last two weeks and she's come up with a gorgeous new summer line called the Bon Temps, "inspired by the infamous New Orleans phrase "laissez les bon temps rouler", which translates to let the good times roll!". I have pics and info to share. So...
I'm ready to roll. Are you?

This is Creations By Lynda Firefly.
Firefly is a true fluorescent yellow crelly that looks absolutely stunning over white polish. Without white underneath, Firefly would be quite transparent. And I am a big fan of making my polishes POP, so I took the obvious route--white undies! ^.^
To create this mani, I began with one solid coat of FP Paper Mache and covered it with a thin layer of Seche Vite. The Seche Vite helped lock in the white to keep it from pulling away into the neon Firefly.
Firefly applied absolutely perfectly. I have some serious LOVE for this polish!
After I finished applying three delicious (it looks edible, like lemon pie filling) coats, I realized that two would have been just fine. @.@
I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat and to help speed the drying process.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am a HUUUUGE fan of this polish. If you love neons, you must hurry and get yours asap!

The next thing I want to talk about is Creations By Lynda Cuticle Oil.

(Creations By Lynda picture)
It is available in 5 scents (as well as unscented): Plumeria, Pina Colada, Honeysuckle, Love Spell, and Peach Nectar.
The Cuticle Oil is made from Safflower Seed Oil, Fractionated
Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil ,
Sesame Seed Oil , Olive Oil, Soybean Oil ,
Aloe Vera Leaf Extract , Jojoba Seed Oil ,
& Vitamin E.
(Additional ingredients for essential oils added
for scents will vary.)
Lynda also states, "If you have any allergies
please contact me for a list of ingredients in
the scents or order unscented".

I have been using Creations By Lynda Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil twice a day over the last two weeks and so far, I am really happy with the results.
I've been using the oil after I apply my polish and before I go to bed.**
This is a pic before I began using the Cuticle Oil.
And my post today after two weeks of using the Cuticle Oil.

When I apply the oil, I apply it directly on my cuticles, up the sides of my nails, and inside the base of the tips. Once I've applied the oil to one hand, I take a few minutes to massage the oil into each finger gently. Then I repeat this on the other hand. It takes a little while for the oil to absorb into my skin, however, the results (and the sweet, but not too sweet scent) make the time spent well worth it.

To purchase Firefly, Cuticle Oils and other Creations by Lynda, visit Lynda's shop here. Also, make sure you head over and like Creations By Lynda and The Nail Files By Lynda to stay updated on restocks and new polish releases.

Have a fantastic day and as always,

Happy Lacquering! =)

Liquid Sky Lacquer In Perfect Harmony and I Need My Weekends

Hello Lovelies! I have two more (soon to be released) Liquid Sky Lacquer polishes to share with you. One is a glitter bomb and one is a jelly! YaY! I love them both...so let's get to the pretties!
This is Liquid Sky Lacquer In Perfect Harmony.
In Perfect Harmony is a "glitter bomb of small purple squares, small green hex, medium royal blue hex, and blue flakies".
This shows one coat of A England Galahad as undies and one coat of In Perfect Harmony, followed by one coat of Gelous and a single topcoat of Seche Vite.
I used the dab method (placing a dollop of polish in the middle of my nail and evenly spreading the polish out to the edges) to apply In Perfect Harmony. This worked very effectively to create a beautiful effect.
Since this turned out super sparkly, I wondered what it would look like not so sparkly! Sooo...I matted it! And look at how gorgeous it turned out. WOWZERS!!
Huzzah!

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer I Need My Weekends.
I Need My Weekends is a "dark red wine jelly with medium gold dots, dark red small hex and small gold hex".
I used two coats of I Need My Weekends (looking at this now, I wish I had used three) and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat.
Application was seamless~I was amazed at how many dots came out with each brushstroke and how easily it layered! I didn't have to fish for any of the glitters for this mani, which is awesome. ^.^
