Creations By Lynda Firefly and Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil

Hello Lovelies! Lynda has created a wonderful cuticle oil that I've been using over the last two weeks and she's come up with a gorgeous new summer line called the Bon Temps, "inspired by the infamous New Orleans phrase "laissez les bon temps rouler", which translates to let the good times roll!". I have pics and info to share. So...
I'm ready to roll. Are you?

This is Creations By Lynda Firefly.
Firefly is a true fluorescent yellow crelly that looks absolutely stunning over white polish. Without white underneath, Firefly would be quite transparent. And I am a big fan of making my polishes POP, so I took the obvious route--white undies! ^.^
To create this mani, I began with one solid coat of FP Paper Mache and covered it with a thin layer of Seche Vite. The Seche Vite helped lock in the white to keep it from pulling away into the neon Firefly.
Firefly applied absolutely perfectly. I have some serious LOVE for this polish!
After I finished applying three delicious (it looks edible, like lemon pie filling) coats, I realized that two would have been just fine. @.@
I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat and to help speed the drying process.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am a HUUUUGE fan of this polish. If you love neons, you must hurry and get yours asap!

The next thing I want to talk about is Creations By Lynda Cuticle Oil.

(Creations By Lynda picture)
It is available in 5 scents (as well as unscented): Plumeria, Pina Colada, Honeysuckle, Love Spell, and Peach Nectar.
The Cuticle Oil is made from Safflower Seed Oil, Fractionated
Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil ,
Sesame Seed Oil , Olive Oil, Soybean Oil ,
Aloe Vera Leaf Extract , Jojoba Seed Oil ,
& Vitamin E.
(Additional ingredients for essential oils added
for scents will vary.)
Lynda also states, "If you have any allergies
please contact me for a list of ingredients in
the scents or order unscented".

I have been using Creations By Lynda Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil twice a day over the last two weeks and so far, I am really happy with the results.
I've been using the oil after I apply my polish and before I go to bed.**
This is a pic before I began using the Cuticle Oil.
And my post today after two weeks of using the Cuticle Oil.

When I apply the oil, I apply it directly on my cuticles, up the sides of my nails, and inside the base of the tips. Once I've applied the oil to one hand, I take a few minutes to massage the oil into each finger gently. Then I repeat this on the other hand. It takes a little while for the oil to absorb into my skin, however, the results (and the sweet, but not too sweet scent) make the time spent well worth it.

Have a fantastic day and as always,

Happy Lacquering! =)

Liquid Sky Lacquer In Perfect Harmony and I Need My Weekends

Hello Lovelies! I have two more (soon to be released) Liquid Sky Lacquer polishes to share with you. One is a glitter bomb and one is a jelly! YaY! I love them both...so let's get to the pretties!
This is Liquid Sky Lacquer In Perfect Harmony.
In Perfect Harmony is a "glitter bomb of small purple squares, small green hex, medium royal blue hex, and blue flakies".
This shows one coat of A England Galahad as undies and one coat of In Perfect Harmony, followed by one coat of Gelous and a single topcoat of Seche Vite.
I used the dab method (placing a dollop of polish in the middle of my nail and evenly spreading the polish out to the edges) to apply In Perfect Harmony. This worked very effectively to create a beautiful effect.
Since this turned out super sparkly, I wondered what it would look like not so sparkly! Sooo...I matted it! And look at how gorgeous it turned out. WOWZERS!!
Huzzah!

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer I Need My Weekends.
I Need My Weekends is a "dark red wine jelly with medium gold dots, dark red small hex and small gold hex".
I used two coats of I Need My Weekends (looking at this now, I wish I had used three) and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat.
Application was seamless~I was amazed at how many dots came out with each brushstroke and how easily it layered! I didn't have to fish for any of the glitters for this mani, which is awesome. ^.^

Liquid Sky Lacquer The Depths of My Merlot

Hello Lovelies! Carolyn from Liquid Sky Lacquer recently released a beautiful jelly named The Depths of My Merlot and it is simply heavenly. I was thrilled when she sent it for me to review. Take a peek at this one!
This is Liquid Sky Lacquer The Depths of My Merlot.
The Depths of My Merlot is a "wine jelly with large silver hex, small red hex and microfine red hex".
This mani took exactly three gorgeous coats of The Depths of My Merlot and one coat of Seche Vite to achieve ultimate awesomeness.
I had no problems at all with the application of this polish and it layered beautifully.
I love how elegant this looks!

Liquid Sky Lacquer Faerie Wisdom

Hello Lovelies! I have the amazing (soon to be released) Liquid Sky Lacquer Faerie Wisdom to show you!! It absolutely BLEW MY MIND when I put it on my nails and I swear to you, I think this may be one of my favorite polishes yet from Carolyn. ^.^
This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Faerie Wisdom.
Faerie Wisdom is a "glitter bomb of neon green, purple and pink hexes, green holo hex and blue flakies". Translation: Pure perfection in a bottle.
So, I used one coat of A England Camelot for undies and one coat of Faerie Wisdom. Then I finished my mani off with a topcoat of Seche Vite!
There was zero fishing for glitter and the one coat went on very easily for me.
Look at how the neon hexes POP with black undies. @.@
Ahh!! I love this look!

I know that I've told you before when a polish is a "must-have" for your collection. All I'm going to say about Faerie Wisdom is~get it! And, I recommend you keep a close eye on Carolyn's store for the release of this one!

Liquid Sky Lacquer Chaotic Week's Calm and Candy Shop

Hello Lovelies! I have more Liquid Sky Lacquer polish from Carolyn that will be released in the near future...here are two amazing glitter bombs to look forward to!
This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Chaotic Week's Calm.
Chaotic Week's Calm is a "glitter bomb of medium gold hex and burgundy small hex, dark pink slices (bar) with dark pink flakies".
Mmmm. I love this polish. It looks fabulous in one easy to apply coat.
It took one coat of Chaotic Week's Calm over one coat of A England Camelot and one coat of Seche Vite to create this mani.

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Candy Shop.
Candy Shop has "multi color and size and shaped bright glitters with pink flakies".
I used one coat of Candy Shop over A England Camelot undies. Gelous smoothed the glitter beautifully and Seche Vite was a perfect topcoat!
This polish has so much going on that it is hard to capture all of the gorgeousness!
Plus, I didn't have to fish for glitter, which was fantastic.

To purchase Chaotic Week's Calm, Candy Shop (release date tba soon) and other Liquid Sky Lacquer polishes now, visit Carolyn's shop here. Also, make sure you head over and like Liquid Sky Lacquer on FB to stay updated on restocks and new polish releases.

Polish Addiction Jellyfish I and Altar Ego

Hello lovelies! I have two more pretties from Laura at Polish Addict that I want to share with you. As I said in my last post, Polish Addict has quickly flown up my chart of top quality handmade polishes and these two are proof of that.

Both polishes applied perfectly with no pooling, dragging, or streaking. They built up beautifully in three coats and I only used Seche Vite on Jellyfish I.

This is Polish Addict Altar Ego.
Altar Ego is a scattered brown holo with a slight thermal shift.
I was so overwhelmed by the gorgeousness of the scattered holo that I began snapping pics without really focusing on the holo aspect.
This pic shows the tip of my nail as a slightly deeper brown than the rest of my nail. Again, I was mesmorized by the holo. ^.^

This is Polish Addiction Jellyfish I.
Jellyfish I is the "reformulated Jellyfish I (shimmer base versus the matte base it had)".
The shimmery base creates a feeling of fluidity, which is cool...since this polish is called Jellyfish I! @.@

To purchase Altar Ego, Jellyfish I, and other Polish Addict polishes, you can shop bigcartel or Polish Addict Outlet. Also, make sure you head over and like My Overnight Addiction to Polish on FB and find Laura as polishaddictnailcolor on IG.

Remember, you can also follow me on IG at colorsplashnails. I'd love to see you there!
