Whimsical Ideas by Pam My Friend Carol

Hello Lovelies! I have had such an amazing week~ I got more nail mail than I've ever gotten, EVER! My Dollish Polish came trickling in (as I placed numerous small orders on Big Cartel, in fear of losing what I had in my cart, so I ended up checking out early like 6 separate times). I also received my very first order from Whimsical Ideas by Pam. When I was opening my box from Pam, I felt like a little girl on Christmas morning. The polishes she creates are simply stunning and the packaging of each bottle is clearly done with love.

The first polish I want to share with you from my newly acquired Whimsical Ideas by Pam Collection is My Friend Carol. The color applied smoothly and the glitter came out like a dream. This polish was everything I could hope for! I only really needed 2 coats, but I was a bit obsessed with perfection with the gorgeousness of this polish, so I went ahead and applied 3 glorious coats. I am thrilled with the results.

Here are my pics of Whimsical Ideas by Pam My Friend Carol:
You can find Pam on her Facebook page here. To order her polishes (at $10 each), you send an e-mail to her and if she has them in stock, she will e-mail you an invoice within a very reasonable amount of time. You paypal her and wait patiently (and believe me...my order seemed to go at lightening speed). Before you know it, the lovely Whimsies will be in your loving hands and adorning your nails, too! :)

Do you own any of the Whimsical Ideas by Pam? I am in love and already hoping to place another order soon!

Lacquistry Valentine Shards

Hello Lovelies! I have another one of my neon Orly beauties to show off today and I decided that the perfect way to complement her would be to add some Lacquistry. This mani turned into one of my fast favorites, simply because it screams "LOOK AT ME!!" lol!

To create this mani, I used Orly Beach Cruiser and topped it with 2 coats of Lacquistry Valentine Shards.

Here are my Lacquistry Valentine Shards:

Neon Spots

Hello Lovelies! Have you had a chance to take a peek at wonderful neon polish collection that Orly just released? WoW!! I am so in love with the bright colors and I am even happier with how amazing they look on my nails.

For today's mani, I used Orly Melt Your Popcicle and Orly Glowstick. I added my swatch of Orly MYP just because I think this orange is fantastic. ^.^

Here's my Neon Spots:

I highly recommend this collection...the polishes went on like a dream (3 coats) and dried very quickly. Plus, the colors are totally RaD, man!

Sweet Prisms

Hello Lovelies! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted~I had the flu last week and didn't feel well at all. However, on a happier note, I picked up a few of the polishes from the Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection and I wanted to play with them a bit. Here is a super quick mani I whipped up to see if I liked these polishes...and the verdict is in. (Pause for dramatic effect...)

I DO! ^.^
~I love how SUPER sparkly it looks and holographic-y!!~

To create this mani, I used China Glaze Sweet Hook and CG Prisms from the Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection.

Here are my Sweet Prisms:
Have you tried any polishes from this Collection? What do you think of them?

Lacquistry Casandra's Peacock

Hello Lovelies! I got my order from Jenna at Lacquistry and I am OBSESSED with Casandra's Peacock!! This polish was named after one of Jenna's lucky customers and believe me when I tell you: It is the most gorgeous polish!!

According to Jenna, "Casandra's Peacock is a lovely blend of 21 different glitters ranging from super-fine to large hex and everything in between. We have gold, blue, green, aqua, turquoise, dark blue, sky blue, holo blue, holo green, holo aqua, and pretty much any other awesomeness you can think of associated with peacocks, except for feathers." When I read that, I nearly hyperventilated. I LOVE peacock feathers, so this polish was a MUST-HAVE immediately.

As I applied the polish, I felt like I was in heaven. I used 3 coats for full opacity. Each coat went on super smoothly and drenched in gorgeous glitters. Ahhhh!!! A quick coat of Gelous and Seche Vite and I was done! Pure Perfection.

Teal Tuesday: Splatter Tealicure

Hello Lovelies! Teal Tuesdays is dedicated to celebrating the gorgeousness of all that is teal. This week, we are celebrating the Splatter Tealicure! I am finally getting the hang of this one~ I used an empty ball-point pen this time rather than a straw and it went much smoother.

To create my mani, I used Essie Blanc as my base color. To splatter, I had fun playing with China Glaze Sexy in the City, CG Sky High-Top, and CG Flying Dragon.

Here's my Splatter Tealicure:
Have you done a splatter mani lately? If so, do you have any good tips to share? ^.^

Dollish Polish Putting On The Ritzzz!

Hello Lovelies! The Dollish Polish I am about to show you is absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt, one of the coolest polishes I've used. Dolly quotes as her inspiration for this polish to her "#1 favorite comedy, all thanks to the legendary Mel Brooks. Combine that with the amazing talents of Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Madeline Kahn and many more, make this parody of Frankenstein one of a kind."

Putting On The Ritzzz! is packed full of enough black and white glitter to make anyone feel like singing!! ^.^

The base color I used is Blue Raspberry from the Nubar Jelly Beans Collection. I applied 3 coats to reach full opacity before applying one coat of Dollish Polish Putting On The Ritzzz!

Here is Putting On The Ritzzz!:
Does it look like robin's eggs to you? It does to me!

Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum!

Hello Lovelies! As promised, I'm happy to say that today I have another Dollish Polish to show you: Expecto Patronum! For this one, Dolly was inspired by the notorious Harry Potter, as she pulled the name straight from the pages of Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azakaban.

Expecto Patronum! is actually a spell used to fight off the Dementors and after you take a looksie at the polish, I think you will absolutely agree that Dolly has nailed this polish perfectly. The polish is "a milky white with a hint of Green shimmer, has iridescent flakies and varying size Green glitter."

In other words, it's OTHERWORLDLY!

Since I purchased the mini bottle (kicking myself and wishing I had a super-sized bottle if Expecto Patronum!...), I chose to layer it over 2 coats of Essie Blanc in an effort to ration my Expecto Patronum! and I was very happy with the results.

This is my mani with 2 coats of Expecto Patronum!:
I love, love, LOVE this polish!!!!!! ^.^

What do you think? Have you tried it?

Dollish Polish Zombie Flesh

Hello Lovelies! This week will be such a treat for me, as my package of Dollish Polish arrived in Saturday's mail. YaY!! I plan on featuring each of her gorgeously amazing masterpieces I purchased on my lucky little fingertips as the week plays out (and hopefully squeeze in a few of my Spring Challenges in between, as well).

If you haven't figured this out yet, I AM IN LOVE WITH DOLLY'S POLISH!

For today's mani, I am going to share Zombie Flesh with you. I bought the mini of this one (and I plan to buy the full size simply because this polish is fantastic and I must have more). Dolly's inspiration for this polish was the television series, The Walking Dead, which is my absolute favorite. I think she completely captured the color of zombies in this polish that is a "sickly Grey/Green shade, bursting with medium Black hexagons and ultra fine glitters in various shades of green".
I played around with Zombie Flesh and thought it would be fun to add some eyeballs to one nail for an extra funky effect. >.< Blech!
What do you think of Zombie Flesh? Do you have any Dollish Polish in your collection?

To buy Dollish Polish, go to her etsy shop here. Her shop is closed right now but you can click to be notified by email when she reopens again! ^.^

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantabulous day~as always,

Spring Challenge: April Fool's Day~Super Dark and Twisted

Hello Lovelies! For today on The Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge, my task was to paint a Super Dark and Twisted Mani in honor of April Fool's Day. The very first thing that popped into my mind was a mani that I saw here and I wanted to try it my way. I think I did I pretty decent job on mine~ I'm very happy with this one. ^.^

To create this marbled mani, I used the gorgeous China Glaze Pelican Gray and FingerPaints Black Expressionism.

Here's my Super Dark and Twisted (marble/drag) Mani:
Here are the other lovely bloggers participating in The Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge. I'd love for you to see their work!~
