Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies

Hello Lovelies! When Carolyn from Liquid Sky Lacquer sent me Water Lilies, I melted. As an elementary art teacher, I adore the lovely paintings by the infamous French Impressionist, Claude Monet. Monet was fascinated with light and the effect it had on nature, creating approximately 250 Water Lilies paintings in his lifetime. The colors Carolyn used in this polish exemplifies a Water Lilies painting beautifully. See for yourself! ^.^

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies.
This is one of Claude Monet's Water Lilies paintings.
Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies is a "teal crelly with small and medium purple hex, fine neon green sand, medium holo green hex, large green hex, large bronze hex, and large blue hex".
For this mani, I used three coats of Water Lilies and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat. Application was a dream--the glitter needed no manipulation to look fabulous!
 Water Lilies up close! @.@

  2. How pretty! It really does look like a Monet, how wonderful!

And that's so cool that you're an art teacher! Art is my first passion so it's nice seeing another blogger who is into art as well!
