Creations By Lynda Kade, Masquerade, & Clouded Dream

Hello Lovelies! I have three polishes to share with you that Lynda has created and I am absolutely loving! They are all unique and pretty. Take a look!

This is Creations By Lynda Kade.
Kade is based on one of the main characters from Lynda's first book, Transition.
It is "a graphite colored shimmery polish with hints of holo glitter".
I used three coats to create this mani and one coat of Seche Vite as top coat. I was very happy with the application of this polish.

This is Creations By Lynda Masquerade.
Masquerade is one of four polishes from the Broadway Glitz Quartet and was inspired by Phantom of the Opera.
It "features micro black bars and hexes, white hexes and flakes, large and micro red hex glitter".
This is one coat of Masquerade over three coats of Kade, with one coat of Seche Vite as top coat. Application was very easy, with no glitter fishing. @.@

This is Creations By Lynda Clouded Dream.
Clouded Dream is one of four polishes from the Broadway Glitz Quartet and was inspired by Les Miserables.
It is "inspired by the overall theme of the musical. It's sadness is represented by the gray hex glitter, the hope is represented by the indigo flakes and the pure love is represented by the white hearts".
Application was no problem and I only had to fish a little bit for hearts. I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat.
I adore the white hearts in this polish~they really make the polish look like dreamy little clouds!

On a side note, I would like to take a quick second and talk candles. I had no idea that Lynda made candles...until she asked me to try out a few. She sent me a strawberry shortcake scented tart and two yummy tea lights. I've already tried out Sugar Cookie and it made my kitchen smell delicious! So, if you like candles...take a peek at Lynda's when you are shopping for polish! ^.^

Creations By Lynda Firefly and Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil

Hello Lovelies! Lynda has created a wonderful cuticle oil that I've been using over the last two weeks and she's come up with a gorgeous new summer line called the Bon Temps, "inspired by the infamous New Orleans phrase "laissez les bon temps rouler", which translates to let the good times roll!". I have pics and info to share. So...
I'm ready to roll. Are you?

This is Creations By Lynda Firefly.
Firefly is a true fluorescent yellow crelly that looks absolutely stunning over white polish. Without white underneath, Firefly would be quite transparent. And I am a big fan of making my polishes POP, so I took the obvious route--white undies! ^.^
To create this mani, I began with one solid coat of FP Paper Mache and covered it with a thin layer of Seche Vite. The Seche Vite helped lock in the white to keep it from pulling away into the neon Firefly.
Firefly applied absolutely perfectly. I have some serious LOVE for this polish!
After I finished applying three delicious (it looks edible, like lemon pie filling) coats, I realized that two would have been just fine. @.@
I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat and to help speed the drying process.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am a HUUUUGE fan of this polish. If you love neons, you must hurry and get yours asap!

The next thing I want to talk about is Creations By Lynda Cuticle Oil.

(Creations By Lynda picture)
It is available in 5 scents (as well as unscented): Plumeria, Pina Colada, Honeysuckle, Love Spell, and Peach Nectar.
The Cuticle Oil is made from Safflower Seed Oil, Fractionated
Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil ,
Sesame Seed Oil , Olive Oil, Soybean Oil ,
Aloe Vera Leaf Extract , Jojoba Seed Oil ,
& Vitamin E.
(Additional ingredients for essential oils added
for scents will vary.)
Lynda also states, "If you have any allergies
please contact me for a list of ingredients in
the scents or order unscented".

I have been using Creations By Lynda Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil twice a day over the last two weeks and so far, I am really happy with the results.
I've been using the oil after I apply my polish and before I go to bed.**
This is a pic before I began using the Cuticle Oil.
And my post today after two weeks of using the Cuticle Oil.

When I apply the oil, I apply it directly on my cuticles, up the sides of my nails, and inside the base of the tips. Once I've applied the oil to one hand, I take a few minutes to massage the oil into each finger gently. Then I repeat this on the other hand. It takes a little while for the oil to absorb into my skin, however, the results (and the sweet, but not too sweet scent) make the time spent well worth it.

Have a fantastic day and as always,

Happy Lacquering! =)

Creations By Lynda Fairytale Dreams Collection (Set One)

Hello Lovelies! I'm excited to share a brand new line of handmade nail polish with you from Creations By Lynda. Lynda sent me her entire first set of the Fairytale Dreams Collection, which happens to be inspired by a certain television show called Once Upon A Time. I am a HUUUGE fan of the show, so I had a blast connecting the creativity in Lynda's polishes to the characters.

This is Creations By Lynda Snow Day.

Snow Day has "a shimmery pearl white base with flecks of tiny iridescent and blue matte glitter, inspired by Snow White/Mary Margaret Blanchard."
Ahhh...this is frosted goodness. I will be wearing this polish more than once.

This is Creations By Lynda Swan Song.

Swan Song "is inspired by Emma Swan and has a nude shimmer base which reflects hints of coral and rose, with burgundy and berry glitter."
This one is unique~it almost looks like a yummy scoop of ice cream to me.

This is Creations By Lynda Charming One.

Charming One has "a shimmery green base color with blue, and multiple shades of green glitter flecks, inspired by David/Prince Charming."
The teal POPS so nicely against the green!

This is Creations By Lynda Golden Spindle.

Golden Spindle is "a gold base color with black shreds and lots of shimmery micro gold glitter flecks, inspired by Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold."
I really, really like this polish. The gold shimmer and black shards work perfectly together.

This is Creations By Lynda Crimson Wolf.

Crimson Wolf is "red base with iridescent glitter inspired by Ruby/Red Riding Hood."
I found this polish was a bit on the thicker side. The crimson color itself is outstanding. I just would've loved seeing more of the iridescent glitter.

This is Creations By Lynda Wicked Enchantment.

Wicked Enchantment is "a purple based polish with hints of black shreds and silver stars. It was inspired by The Evil Queen/Regina Mills."
This purple is absolutely stunning. I loved it in the bottle and 10x more on my nails. The stars that came out on my brush are the ones in my pics. I did not have to fish for any of them. I did take a few seconds to place one or two.

bonus that Lynda included was one polish from her The Tempus Fugit Trio set.
I got Fusion!

This is Creations By Lynda Fusion.

Fusion is "a deep berry color that shows at sunset just before the sky darkens"  and is one of three colors that are "inspired literally by time itself and the colors that change during".
I love how the holo flecks make Fusion look like it literally sparkles.

I used two coats of polish on every mani to reach full opacity and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat. I found the shimmery bases in Fairytale Dreams quite refreshing and different from any of the other polishes I have in my polish collection. My absolute favorites are Snow Day, Golden Spindle, and Wicked Enchantment. ^.^ And Fusion is AMAZING, too!
